If you have paid a visit to Tumminia Mazda lately, you likely have noticed that we’re already starting to receive 2023 models on our lot. But besides the new 2023 Mazda CX-50, which is currently available, there are a variety of new Mazda cars that will hit the market in the coming years. Here is what we know about the future of Mazda cars.
Mazda CX-50
Because the Mazda CX-50 is a brand new Mazda model to arrive on our lot, not many drivers are familiar with the great benefits of this compact crossover. The Mazda CX-50 is available with either a naturally aspirated 187-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or a turbocharged version of that engine making 256 horsepower.
No matter which trim you choose, you’ll get a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. Though it’s not available yet, a hybrid version is also in the works.
The cabin offers plenty of space for five passengers in its two rows of seats. Buyers who choose the higher trims are treated to a large 10.3-inch display screen with the latest version of the Mazda Connect interface controlled through an easy-to-use click wheel.
Mazda CX-90
The upcoming Mazda CX-90 will be the largest Mazda SUV to date. It is set to be built on a new longitudinal-engine architecture that offers the option for a hybrid powertrain. Debuting in late 2022 or early 2023, the Mazda CX-90 will be the first Mazda SUV to use a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six powertrain that is expected to be augmented by a 48-volt hybrid system.
One additional upcoming Mazda SUV is the Mazda CX-70, though less is known about that model. To test-drive the brand-new Mazda CX-50, head over to Tumminia Mazda today.
