It also comes equipped with a SKYACTIV®-MT six-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter in each of its three trim levels. The Grand Touring trim is also available with a six-speed Sport automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Enhanced Traction
You’ll still have all the control you need in the lightweight sports car, thanks to its Dynamic Stability Control with Traction Control. It can control your braking and engine torque, which minimizes side slip. This new Mazda roadster is also equipped with an available asymmetric, torque-sensing limited-slip differential, which intuitively sends torque to the wheel with the most grip, helping you maintain control on tricky surfaces.

You’ll also experience stellar handling in the lightweight sports car, primarily thanks to its 50/50 weight distribution. The sports car features Kinematic Posture Control, with can limit body roll when cornering. It also features a double wishbone front suspension and multilink rear suspension, as well as an available sport-tuned four-wheel independent suspension and Bilstein® dampers specific to the Club trim.
